TV Studio Open House

Please join us on Tuesday, April 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. for the TV Studio Open House located on the ground floor of Fintel Library.

The TV Studio features two professional cameras with a teleprompter, a green screen for special effects, full studio lighting donated by WSLS-10, and top notch audio and video editing equipment.

Video is increasingly being used in courses and on the web, and the TV Studio is Roanoke’s showcase facility for helping to produce high-quality video for the RC campus and the world. Faculty are welcome to use the studio to make long or short video clips to share with students. Some faculty are successfully “flipping” a few lectures using the green screen. Other groups are using the studio to tell and share their experiences and stories with others.

Light refreshments will be provided. Come by and see what all the excitement is about!
